« It’s been about twelve hours since I finished reading Girl in Pieces and scenes from the novel still play in my head like film strips. This debut novel by Kathleen Glasgow is masterfully constructed and presented. The chapters frequently just pieces as the title would indicate.

Charlie is seventeen years old and has been living on the streets since her mother kicked her out of the house, and then her best friend, Ellis, whose family she started living with, blamed Charlie for the drugs that actually belonged to her boyfriend. Charlie’s always cut herself, but after a particularly bad event, she winds up in a psychiatric hospital with other girls who self-harm. SEVEN RANDOM THINGS ABOUT ME:

1. During my university studies, I was an excellent student in the design, especially the geological sections and maps.
2. I used Desson, strong in my teaching profession.
3. I had dreamed of being a singer because I had a beautiful voice!
4. My first painting painting was destroyed by my father, which delayed my artwork 45 years.
5. I am a very good player of Chess. (Former president of the Club Cavalier d’Or in Casablanca).
6. In sports, I look at the artistic gestures, not the strong gestures, so my favorites are: Messi, Neymar, Federrer, Michael Jordan, Gabriella Papadakis / Guillaume Cizeron ……..
7. I love photography, but I’m still a beginner amateur.
