THESE ARE SOME TECHNICAL EXPLANATION SIMPLIFIED FOR READERS, ENTHUSIASTS AND BEGINNERS OF THE DIGITAL PAINTING.
All professional cartoonists and painters are familiar with and necessarily use the LAYERS. Spectators looking at an artistic creation can not imagine (except rarely) the layers that contains the creation.
The layers are the superimposed floors of an image. The painter must necessarily imagine himself before beginning work.
The painter imagines his layers using the analysis of objects, spaces, mixtures of colors and relations between the history of the final image.
In all painting software, there is an option called « layers ».
Transparencies in this option create « layers » (numeric) that can be superimposed, modified, or canceled.
The painter works on each layer by imagining the other layers, with the possibility of looking at the other layers (realized).
Let’s do a test:
1.I open the first layer, I draw a shape; And I close the diaper:
2.I open the second layer of paint the dark side. And I close the diaper:
3.I open the third layer I paint the bright side. And I close the diaper:
4.I opened the fourth layer I paint inside the red tube. And I close the diaper:
5.I opened the fifth layer to draw black and rigid limits. And I close the diaper:
a) I open the layers 1 and 2 provide that:
b) I added the 3:
c) I added the 4:
d) I added the 5:
The image of the object is almost real.
e) I added a layer below (zero) to paint the gray background.
f) I end my little creation to create a round window (using gum in 5 layers) where one can see the gray background ; I give a few alterations and I sign the cretion.

I recently took some beginners’ lessons in photo editing. So at least now I know what layers are. Honestly: How can you DO this?! I never imagined that it was easy, but that would drive me crazy and I wouldn’t get a painting in years!

Yes 🙂 but harder in traditional painting you cant make a huge mistake. Its awesome in digital its magic..coz you have ctrl+z 😉. Or simply delete the whole layer and do it again 😁
Layers are necessary, in drawing and painting:
In digital painting, layers are independent, changeable and removable … which is impossible in traditional painting.
The digital painter, can start with any layer. The traditional painter works, necessarily, with the same order of the sofas, of his creation.
An artist cant simply survive without a layer , may it be digital or traditional painting.. its how you create your fine details. Just my thought on this..coz iv done both digital and traditional painting.
