Kuala Lumpur is one of the two capitals of Malaysia (with Putrajaya). The industrial, financial and cultural heart of the country, the city has an area of 243 km2 and has more than 1 600 000 inhabitants within the walls. Its agglomeration, named Grand Kuala Lumpur (en) or Valley of the Klang, counts more than 7,300,000 in 2010.
I begin by introducing you – my dear friends and visitors – photos (I loved it) of this beautiful city, which I received from my dear friend Gina Gallyot (Malaysian, who lives in Kualalumpur) .with her own comments:
Kampung Kling Mosque
The suburb, in 20 kilometres south from city of Kuala Lumpur. It’s busy and yet it’s got everything, and you don’t want to leave
the shopping malls are always decorated for the many festivals we have – this is for the Lantern Festival every August / September
At a Ramadhan food (bazaar during the fasting month of Ramadhan). We have a lot of varieties to choose from.
Malaysia also has lovely mountains and highlands, this place is east of Kuala Lumpur – called Fraser’s Hill. The cool climate allows many lovely flowers to grow that we can’t find in the lower lands.
This is a beach northeast of Kuala Lumpur on an island called Perhentian Island (or a place to stop in my language) off the coast of Kuala Terengganu – very famous with foreign and local tourists Especially for diving at sea and snorkeling.
Two pictures of the beach in a place south of Kuala Lumpur called Port Dickson. A good place to watch beautiful sunsets and sunrises.
Sand dunes overlooking the Straits pf Melaka, my favourite place, in the evening lovers buy coconut ice cream and sit by the dunes and watch the sunset – very romantic and peaceful
I would like to thank my dear friend Gina Gallyot and I invite you all, to visit her beautiful blog: alifelesslivedblog
