4) Old Spanish Days

August 2 to 6, 2017

Santa Barbara(United States)

Since the first “Old Spanish Days” in 1924, Fiesta celebrated the rich history that makes Santa Barbara such a special place. Annually, the shared experiences during Fiesta serve as a unifying force in this community.

Throughout the years, there has been a respectful recognition and a keen respect for the traditions born of its origins. Traditions of civility and dignity date back to a time when life was difficult and often uncertain. Joy was found in the simplest of things. The celebrations often come from the arrival of visitors, whether family, friends or those who simply cross the city. It was truly a Feast!

A fiesta of madness takes over the peaceful Santa Barbara. Rodeo, mariachis, balls, parade of buggies. The streets are crowded
