    Japanese civilization is unique in its historical harmony.
    but Western civilization remains so charming by these extraordinary innovations.

  4. I am in love with Japan. I have been to Himeji castle and walked through it. I have also seen that huge needle lit up at night in Kyoto. What I find amazing about Japan is that they are able to blend their modern architecture and ancient architecture perfectly. I don’t know how they do it. In the European countries – which I still love, mind you – the modern buildings stick out like a sore thumb against their ancient ones.
