BEAUTY OF ART AND IMAGES FOR YOU
Beauty of the mountains:
THE MOUNTAINS OF NEPAL
The sweep of the Ngozumba glacier (Nepal’s longest) and encircling mountains clad in new snow as seen from Gokyo Ri just after sunrise.
Main peaks visible (L to R) include (I think) Chakung (7029); Chunbu (6859); Cholo (6059), the closest at left of centre; Lobuche West (6145) and East (6119), centre; Everest, Nuptse and Lhotse tallest behind and above; Arakam Tse (6423); Cholatse (6440); and Taboche (6501).
You can see the 3rd Gokyo Lake at the bottom right

The Anapurna range (Pokhara, Nepal). Pokhara valley above Fewa lake.
From left to right Machhapuchhre (6993m), Anapurna III (7555m), Anapurna IV (7525m), Anapurna II (7939m), Lamjung Himal (6932m). Machhapuchhre, looks the highest only because it is closer than the other peaks.
Machhapuchhre – 6993m (Anapurna, Nepal)
Machhapuchhre (6993m) at sunrise from Sarangkot above Fewa lake in Pokhara. This beautiful mountain, that rises about 24 km due north of Pokhara has become a symbol of the stupendous scenery that Nepal has to offer.
