The gigantic mountains of Pakistan

 

Pakistan is home to 108 peaks above 7,000 meters. and probably as many peaks above 6000 m. Five of the 14 highest independent peaks in the world (eight thousand) are in Pakistan (four of them are in the vicinity of Concordia, at the confluence of Baltoro Glacier and Godwin Austen Glacier). Most of Pakistan’s highest peaks are in the Karakoram mountain range (which is almost entirely in the Gilgit-Baltistan region, and is considered part of the Himalayan range)                                 [Wikipedia]

Falak Sher (also known as Falak Sar) is a mountain in Ushu Valley of Swat. At 5,918 metres (19,416 ft), it is considered the highest peak of the Swat district in the Hindu Kush mountains.

Phander Lake is situated in in the Phander Valley, in Ghizer District, the westernmost part of the Gilgit–Baltistan region.
