Kaua’i island
Kaua’i is the oldest of the main islands of the Hawaiian archipelago and the fourth largest by area, with 1,446 km2. Its coastline is 177 kilometers long. It is also known as Garden Isle.
Kauai is home to the Waimea Canyon, dubbed the Pacific Grand Canyon. Many TV series and movies, including Jurassic Park, were filmed here in this Hawaiian island Kauai

Shield Volcano is in the form of an elongated mountain. Its summit culminating at 3,055 meters is formed by a vast caldera measuring 9.5 kilometers in length and 3.5 kilometers in width. The volcano experienced 40 eruptions between 8000 BC. J-C. and the eighteenth century (year 1750)
Waimea Canyon
is approximately ten miles (16 km) long and up to 3,000 feet (900 m) deep. To give a sense of scale, the Waipoo Waterfall (upper left) is 800 feet or about 245m high.

Originally, in 1918, a small house was built on the parcel of land occupied by 3878 Hanapepe Road. Matajuro Onzuka and his wife Sunae bought it in the mid-1920s and started their laundry business here. then laundry / cleaning in this store for nearly 50 years, Over the years, the building has hosted a variety of businesses. In 2002, it was bought and restored as a residence and gallery, Island Art.
The Serikawa building, was originally built as the Serikawa hotel in 1921 by the Serikawa family.
Limahuli Garden and Preserve, 17 acres of garden with an addition 985 acres of preserve located in Hā‘ena, is one of five gardens of the non-profit National Tropical Botanical Garden. The garden contains a wide range of native and Polynesian-introduced plants. The garden was started in 1967 by Juliet Rice Wichman, a member of the Hui Ku‘ai ‘Āina O Hā‘ena, who willed the lower part of the Limahuli Valley to the NTBG, and the rest to her grandson , Chipper Wichman, who cultivated the preserve before donating it to the NTBG as well.
