VLADIMIR VOLEGOV
The painter Vladimir Volegov was born in 1957 in Chabarowsk, Russia. He began painting very young and his talent flourished as a teenager. In the former Soviet Union, he attended the Krivoj Rog Art School and the Lvov Polygraph Institute. In 1984, Vladimir Volegov was awarded at the International Art Poster Contest. He moved to Moscow in 1988 and his career turned to the design of posters and record covers for bands. At the same time, he continues to paint and participate in exhibitions.
In 1990, Vladimir Volegov began to travel to Europe. He earns his living by painting portraits in the streets of European cities and in particular Barcelona, Berlin and Vienna. He refined his experience of portraiture and quickly became a sought-after painter.
His figurative style, almost photographic, makes him excel in the representation of young women, elegant and elegant on a background of natural scenery (gardens, trees, seaside). But he also represents children and animals. The color treatment is exceptionally rich and the brightness is intense. It emerges at once an impression of serenity and sensuality. The painter’s muses are dreamy, refined and seem to be waiting. There is something Proustian about Volegov.
