Ayrton Senna da Silva is a Brazilian car driver, born March 21, 1960 in São Paulo and died May 1, 1994 in Bologna, following an accident at the San Marino Grand Prix.
A true idol in Brazil where his status has surpassed that of mere sports champion, he is considered one of the greatest drivers in the history of Formula 1, winning three times the title of world champion in 1988, 1990 and 1991, after having won 41 Grands Prix and signed 65 pole positions.

n Luhansk, USSR (today in Ukraine). He was named Hero of Ukraine by President Leonid Kuchma on February 4, 2001. He competed under the USSR shirt until 1991, then with Ukraine until the end of his career in 2000. First athlete to cross the bar of six meters, on July 13, 1985 at the Jean-Bouin stadium in Paris, he beat thirty-five world records in the discipline between 1984 and 1994 (17 times outdoors and 18 times in the hall). In his twenty-year career at the highest level, he made forty-six jumps beyond 6m in forty-four competitions.

Bruce Lee, Hong Kong Sky Line

Bruce Lee born in the Chinatown district of San Francisco, United States on

November 27, 1940 and died of cerebral edema in Hong Kong on July 20, 1973, is a sportsman  martial and artist. At the age of 13, around 1953-1954 after being introduced to tai chi chuan, Bruce Lee began to study Chinese martial arts, Wing Chun, in the school of the famous master Yip Man, with Wong Shun Leung . He is also an actor, director, producer, and screenwriter.

Francina « Fanny » Elsje Blankers-Koen (born April 26, 1918 in Baarn, the

Netherlands and died January 25, 2004 in Hoofddorp) is a Dutch athlete who won four gold medals at the 1948 Olympic Games. She was nicknamed the « flying housewife ».

In 1936, at just 18 years old, she participated in the Olympics in Berlin, where she finished 6th in the high jump and 5th in the 4 × 100m relay with the Dutch team.

With four gold medals at the London Games in 1948, five European titles between 1946 and 1950, sixteen world records in eight different events: 100 yards, 100m, 200m, high hurdles, high jump, long jump , athletic pentathlon and relay 4 × 100 m, and 58 national competitions won4, Fanny Blankers-Koen holds one of the finest track records of women’s athletics.

Jack Roosevelt Robinson, born January 31, 1919 in Cairo, Georgia and died October 24, 1972 in Stamford, Connecticut, is an American baseball player who played in the Major League from 1947 to 1956. He is the first Black to play in Major league (April 15, 1947) since the sixty-year prohibition of club owners who relied on the decisions of the US Supreme Court. An indefatigable advocate of the egalitarian cause, he paves the way for the « Civil Rights Revolution ».

Rookie of the Year in 1947, best Major League player and leader in the batting average in 1949 and member of the all-star team in 1949, 1950, 1951, 1952, 1953 and 1954, he was elected to the Temple of the fame of baseball in 1962, from its first year of eligibility. In 1999, he was named to the Team of the Century. The number 42 that Robinson wore was removed from baseball, the only honor, from all of MLB’s baseball franchises on April 15, 1997.
