COLMAR – France
One of the beautiful small towns of the world

Colmar is a large town in the north east of France, located in the Haut-Rhin department in the Alsace region, close to the border with Germany. Its old town has cobblestone streets lined with medieval half-timbered buildings or early Renaissance.
The city has many monuments and its typical neighborhoods are particularly beautiful and well developed. Colmar also has several interesting museums, including the famous Unterlinden Museum.
The population of Colmar was 67,214 in 2009.
