The Ural is a Hercynian mountain range located in Russia. It stretches over 2,000 km, from the Kara Sea in the north to the steppes of Kazakhstan in the south.
The often heavily eroded reliefs culminate at an altitude of 1,894 meters. The massif decomposes from north to south in several subsets with contrasted characteristics (vigor of relief, flora, climate).

Je suis né et j’ai grandi dans un village de l’urale méridionale. J’ai eu une enfance heureuse là-bas. en tant qu’enfants, nous étions libres de faire ce que nous voulions, d’aller où bon nous semblait, de chercher de la forêt pour cueillir des baies ou nager dans un lac. tout le monde se connaissait et c’était un endroit paisible sans crime
