2-Surat Thani province
Surat Thani, is a province (changwat) of Thailand (1.04 million inhabitants in 2014).Its most famous districts are the tourist islands of Ko Samui and Ko Pha Ngan. Its capital is the city of Surat Thani.
Surat Thani has a tropical savanna climate with heavy rains in October and November.
Temperatures are fairly stable throughout the year, although the months of March-April-May are a little hotter and dryer.The best places to visit in this province are:
* Equatorial forests and rivers of Khao Sok National Park.
* Coral reefs, pristine beaches and hikes on Koh Nang Yuan Island.
* The perfectly preserved nature around Lake Cheow Lan, with its limestone rocks and green trees.
