Kefalonia is a Greek island in the Ionian Sea, the largest and most mountainous of the Ionian Islands (with a summit of 1,628 m).
The area of the island is 935 km2, and its population 60,000 inhabitants.
The island is famous for the existence of mountainous reliefs, forests, beautiful coasts and historic elements from 30 centuries, in a Mediterranean climate.
The capital of the island is Argostóli.
