Antwerpen-Centraal railway station
Antwerpen-Centraal station, is a Belgian railway station, located on the Reine Astrid square near the center of the city of Antwerp. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful stations in the world. The old station was commissioned on May 3, 1836 by the Belgian State Railways. Work for the construction of a new station began in 1895, the commissioning took place on August 11, 1905. It was on this occasion that it was renamed “Anvers-Central”.
