Kitzbühel is an Austrian city, located in the Tyrol. The Gardena Valley (in Ladin, Gherdëina, German Gröden) is a high alpine valley in northern Italy, in the Dolomites about 25 km long, famous for its ski resorts. In 1970, the valley hosted the Alpine Ski World Championships. Each year, there is also a figure skating competition.

The high elevation guarantees snow reliability almost 7 months a year as well as spectacular views above the clouds. The winter sports resort is accessible from Garmisch-Partenkirchen
