Breckenridge is a city located in the state of Colorado.
It is a popular ski resort where many competitions (such as the Alpine Ski World Cup) have been held.
In 1859, Breckenridge went from a silver and gold mining town to one of the most expensive ski destinations in the country. In winter it attracts with its shopping, its night activations and its breweries.

Vail is one of the most popular cold weather destinations in the US for one reason: skiing.
