TRAVEL IN 2021

A new series, to help my friends choose a beautiful place in the world, which deserves a great tourist trip.

Zell am See (Austria)

Zell am See, is a ski resort in the municipality of Kaprun, located in the Land of Salzburg, Austria. It is connected with the city that bears its name (Zell am See). It is one of the most beautiful winter sports resorts in Europe, large and well equipped, and the presence of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier guarantees optimal ski conditions 10 months of the year.

  1. I have just started traveling with my fiancé and I have only been to the US, Canada, Mexico, Belize and a few islands. We have had 6 trips cancelled since the virus. He has been to 6 continents and has live a few places overseas, (Antarctica was the one he had not and it was cancelled).

  2. When you go skiing in Austria, first and foremost is the language. The Austrian remains close to German and it is not easy to understand. Second, often, often the stations are small. To ski a lot, you have to change from one to the other. Except on large areas. Cross-country skiing is well developed there. Finally, if you look at the city of GARMISH on maps, there is still the Olympic springboard near the highway. A very beautiful country, very typical but with many small sites.

  3. Wow, such beautiful photos and accompanying narrative ~ this may sound silly, but I didn’t know that Australia had so much snow in parts of it!! 😀
