Archaeologists from Griffith University (Australia) discovered this 45,500-year-old rock painting – painted in red ocher – during research in the south of the island of Sulawesi, Indonesia. (By comparison, the parietal achievements of the Chauvet cave in Ardèche, France, date back 36,000 years.)
