The “Pink Star”, a pink diamond the size of a plum, broke the world record for a stone auctioned, reaching $ 71.2 million in Hong Kong on April 4, 2017.
It is a 59.60 carat diamond which is the largest diamond in its class. It measures 2.69 cm by 2.06 cm and weighs 11.92 grams.
