GRISONS is a trilingual canton (German, Romansh, Italian), located in the Alps in the south-east of Switzerland. It is bordered by Liechtenstein to the north, Austria to the north and east, Italy to the south and southeast.
The canton, rich in forests, is almost entirely mountainous, including high plateaus, glaciers and valleys.
The population of the canton reaches 200,000 inhabitants, its capital is Chur; other cities include Davos, Klosters, St. Moritz, … The canton’s economy is based on agriculture, tourism and services.
