sculpture trail was designed by Caroline Daly and is called “Bee-bop-a-raver”. It has been placed in Tony Wilson Place, in view of HOME LinkExternal link and the statue of Friedrich Engels. The bee’s bright fluorescent colors are representative of the iconic, neon fashions characteristic of Manchester nightlife, which gave the city an international center of culture and art in the 1980s and 1990s.
