Anguilla is a British Overseas Territory in the Eastern Caribbean.
It is the name of an archipelago and also the name of its’ main island. Dog Island and Prickly Pear are uninhabited islands surrounded by reefs and sandy beaches.

The archipelago was inhabited at least 900 years before the arrival of Christopher Columbus. Since April 1, 1982, it has adopted an autonomy regime.
The economy of the archipelago is dominated by tourism, the main activities are cattle breeding, coastal lobster fishing, salt production and boat building.
