Beautiful little-known castle: Haut Koenigsbourg castle

The Haut Koenigsbourg castle is located in Alsace in the east of France. The start of construction of this medieval castle was in the 12th century, as a defense fortress, on a rocky outcrop. During 8 centuries, the castle was rebuilt, burned down, destroyed, and restored several times.
