A great photographer of famous personalities: Philippe Halsman

Philippe Halsman, is a photographer of Jewish origin from Latvia, naturalized American in 1949. He was born on May 2, 1906 in Riga and died on June 25, 1979 in New York. His passion for photography began at the age of fifteen, thanks to a family camera. He began his professional career in Paris, around 1934, where he produced his first photographic portraits of celebrities.
Philippe Halsman had photographed the most famous artistic, political and scientific men and women of the first half of the 20th century, in Europe and America.
