The genius British artist: FRANCIS BACON

Francis Bacon, British painter, born October 28, 1909 (Dublin) and died April 28, 1992.
F. Bacon, asthmatic and mistreated by his father who lived through the tragedies of the great world wars, became a painter of cruelty and tragedies.
He achieved wide fame among the great painters of the 20th century and a leader in contemporary art; His works were present in galleries in London, Dublin, Berlin, Paris, Monaco, New York, and Madrid. He is best known for his large triptychs.
Francis Bacon is one of the best-rated artists in the world, his work “Three Studies of Lucian Freud” created in 1969, was sold in 2013 for the record sum of 142.4 million dollars at Christie’s, in New York.
