
Dalian is a city in Liaoning Province in China, on the Gulf of Korea in the Yellow Sea.
Its population is approximately 7 million.
Dalian is an important industrial city, and famous for its port (the third in China and the first for hydrocarbons), for its most “Western” architecture in China, for its fashion festival, and for its square (Xinghai Square) which is the largest urban square in the world with 1,100,000 m2.
